In 2022, NPO Android Technology, in a consortium with leading scientific and medical centers of the Russian Federation, developed a highly effective restorative technology for neurorehabilitation in combination with robotic mechanotherapy and biofeedback - the Ortez-1 robotic complex for the restoration of locomotor functions of the hands.

This technology is used to restore the motor activity of the hands of adults and children with motor deficits resulting from stroke, injuries, surgeries and diseases of the central nervous system.

The use of this technology makes it possible to return patients with neurological pathologies to full-fledged social and work activities, regardless of the degree and duration of brain damage and impaired motor functions.
The recovery program is based on the ability of the cerebral cortex to reorganize biological neural networks due to neuroplastic processes.
